Dear Stevenson Elementary Families,

Welcome to a new school year at Stevenson Elementary! It is an honor to welcome both our returning families and those joining us for the first time. As we begin another exciting year together, "One Team, One Goal: Champions for Our Students" reflects our commitment to working side by side with our families to ensure every child learns, grows, and succeeds.

Our first day of school is Wednesday, August 5, 2026, and classes begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. Students should enter campus through the gate closest to the parking roundabout. For everyone's safety, please wait until your vehicle reaches the designated drop-off area before students exit.

Breakfast will be served in the cafeteria from 7:30 a.m. to 7:55 a.m. At 7:45 a.m., students will be dismissed to the playground where they can visit with friends until teachers gather them up at 7:55 a.m. to begin the instructional day. To help maintain a safe campus, only students and school personnel are permitted in the cafeteria and on the playground during this time. All visitors must enter through the front office, be buzzed into the building, and sign in upon arrival.

Our regular dismissal time is 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. On designated Wednesdays, students will be dismissed at 1:00 p.m.

Dismissal Procedures

• Kindergarten- Student pick-up will take place at the parking roundabout.

• First and Second Grade- Students will exit through the 11th Street gate near the flagpole.

• Third and Fourth Grade- Students will exit through the 12th Street gate by the basketball court.

• Fifth Grade- Students will exit through the 12th Street gate closest to Adams Ave

Please plan to pick up your child promptly at dismissal. For the safety of all students, parents and guardians are asked to wait outside the school gates while students are dismissed.

Communication between home and school is essential to student success. We encourage you to stay connected by following Stevenson Elementary on Facebook, visiting our school website, and watching for updates through our phone notification system and school marquee. Please remember to notify the front office whenever your contact information changes so you never miss important school communications.
