📲 Introducing ATTENDANCE PRO! Douglas Unified School District #27’s New Text-Based Attendance System

We are making it easier for families to communicate student absences with ATTENDANCE PRO, our new text-based attendance system.

Each school has been assigned a dedicated Attendance Pro phone number that parents and guardians can CALL or TEXT to report a student absence.

⚠️ IMPORTANT ATTENDANCE REMINDER! To ensure your student’s absence is properly excused, parents/guardians should call or text the school’s assigned Attendance Pro number PRIOR TO or ON THE DAY OF THE ABSENCE.

Reporting absences promptly helps our schools maintain accurate attendance records and strengthens communication between school and home.

📱 CALL OR TEXT — IT’S THAT EASY!
No app is required. Simply use your school’s assigned Attendance Pro number to communicate attendance information.

Visit your school’s website or contact your school's office, for its assigned Attendance Pro phone number and additional attendance information.

Thank you!

Dear Ray Borane Middle School Families,

Staying on top of your child's attendance just got a lot easier.
Starting August 17, Ray Borane Middle School will be using a new text-based system to keep you informed when your child is absent — and to make it simple for you to respond, ask questions, and share notes, all without a phone call.

Here's what's new:

You'll receive a text when your child is absent. A message will come from (520) 317 9530 — save this number in your contacts so you never miss it.

You can text back directly. Reply to confirm an absence, share the reason, or ask a question. It's that simple.

You can send photos of notes by text. Need to submit a parent note or a doctor's note? Just take a photo and text it to the same number — no need to drop anything off at the office.

You can proactively text us. Know that your child will be absent? Send us a text to (520) 317 9530, and we’ll update the record accordingly.
The texts are powered by our AI attendance assistant. Every response goes directly to our attendance team, and your child's record is updated accordingly.
If you have questions or need help, please reach out to us at (520) 364-2461. We're grateful for your partnership and committed to making every school day count.

Sincerely,

Ray Borane Middle School School
