Entering its fourth year, this APS program awards $500 to randomly selected teachers in APS service territory to help ensure they have the resources they need to support their students’ success. Bulldogs, the DHS Yearbook 2021 is finally here! Distribution starts on Monday, June 28th, from 9am-3pm, in the Bookstore. If you have already paid in full, just bring your payment receipt and ID to get your yearbook. Those that made the down payment, please pay your balance to the bookstore manager or to the athletics secretary. You can still purchase the yearbook for $70. We have 80 extra copies in case we will have a sellout. See you!

Parents/Guardians of DUSD students, this Monday 24th through Friday 28th from 8AM to 4PM all DUSD students may return their devices at the east entrance of the DHS library by going through the student parking lot and we will also be located at the DHS gym lobby. Thank you for your cooperation.

Douglas High School is happy to announce the plans for the 2021 Commencement Ceremony. As described to the Governing Board on April 6th, the Commencement Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 28th. Each graduate will be allowed 4 guests to sit with them on the field in Armando De Lucas Stadium. Guests must arrive with the graduate to enter the stadium. Masks are required to be worn as this is a Douglas Unified School District mandate. There will be 4 sessions beginning at 11 am, 12:30 pm, 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm. Sanitization procedures will occur between sessions. Graduates will be organized in Alphabetical order (A-Z) for the sessions. The top 5% GPA of the class of 2021 will be recognized and participate in the first session. Graduation practice will be held on Thursday, May 27, 8 am – 12 pm. Notifications will be sent out the week of May 17th to each graduate with specific details including the time and session they will be participating in.
