The 2010/11 school year will be a year of challenges because of all of the budget issues that we are dealing with in Arizona.  However, I believe that it will also be a year of triumphs for our students, parents, faculty and staff.

I have been amazed in the short time that I have been here the professionalism of all of the staff that I have encountered.   Working together to solve problems is evident in many areas!

The Douglas Unified School District can only be successful by each and every one of us working together for the betterment of our district and the children we serve.

I look forward to getting to know all of you in the months ahead.  I firmly believe that this year will be a successful one for all of us here in Douglas!!
