DUSD Faculty and Staff,
On Tuesday, August 2, DUSD teachers kicked the 2011/12 school year off with a wonderful presentation about technology. We were privileged to have Kevin Honeycutt speak to all of the teachers.
On Wednesday, August 3, all of our faculty and staff met in the James Brenden Auditorium. We had the honor of hearing Consuelo Castillo Kickbusch, a noted educational and motivational speaker.
Thursday, August 4, brought over 4,100 students through our doors. Our district administrators and principals spent countless hours getting ready for this school year.
As I have gone around the district, I continue to be grateful to the wonderful employees, students, and families here in Douglas.
The 2011/12 school year will be a great one because of the commitment and dedication of our faculty and staff.
